The site is not a contractor and not a waterproofing company. It does no basement work and never offers or bids to do any. It does not visit or look over homes, give prices or sign contracts. It holds no City of Cleveland contractor registration, because it does none of the work that registration covers. It does not handle claims made to insurers or speak to an insurance company for anyone; coverage questions belong with your own agent.

When you send a request by form or phone, it goes to one independent local contractor. That business contacts you, visits if you agree, prepares any estimate and carries out whatever work you hire it to do. It is a business of its own, and any agreement you sign binds only you and it.

Contractors may pay this site for advertising; at present this is offered as a free trial. No homeowner is ever charged by this site, and none is given cash, a gift, a discount or any other thing of value for asking for an estimate.

We do not rank contractors or vouch for them, and payment does not buy a recommendation. Before you sign, check the contractor's registration with the City of Cleveland at 216.664.2910 or with your suburb's building department, ask for proof of liability insurance and workers' comp, and confirm that a licensed plumber or licensed sewer builder will handle any plumbing or sewer work under City permits.

The site is not connected with the City of Cleveland, the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District, any nearby city, the State of Ohio or the National Weather Service. This disclosure is interpreted under Ohio law.
